Coaching

I am a life coach focusing on personal development working in a holistic way with mind, body, spirit. 

We begin where you’re at in the present, focusing on the changes you want to make and what you want to achieve, each week I will work alongside you so that you can take one step at a time to reach your goals

 I integrate all of my years of experience and knowledge to help you on your personal development journey to make the changes you desire.


Coaching, counselling sessions are for a minimum of 6 weeks, one hour session a week by Zoom, telephone, or face-to-face usually on the same day and time each week.

Your investment

I only work with clients who are fully committed in wanting to make changes, I can work either short term (6 weeks) or  on a long term. It is your commitment to your results and personal transformation. 

To secure your coaching, counselling  programme, payment is required upon booking whereby there are two options.

Options:

1: Full payment 

                                                                          2:  A non-refundable deposit followed by a payment plan.

Counselling/Psychotherapy

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I abide by their code of ethics and attend supervision to ensure my practice maintains the highest professional standards. The counselling model I use is integrative using Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Expressive Arts Therapy (EAT), Transactions Analysis (TA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I offer this integrative therapeutic service to individuals with a diverse range of issues such as

The Brain

There are two parts of the brain​, the right and the left.

 The left side is the logical part using reasoning, strategies and analytics.

The right side is the creative, freedom and passion.

We will tap into both sides working with the conscious and subconscious 

addressing your thoughts and feelings.


Person-Centred Counselling

The person-centred approach was devised by Carl Rogers where therapy focuses on the clients' experience of themselves. Clients may look at their past and underlying causes such as their childhood as well as the present and explore their thoughts and feelings. In this approach, counsellors trust the clients to find their own answers and direction rather than being told what to do.  The counsellor facilitates the core conditions of empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruences by helping the client to understand how they interact with the world and help them to develop a greater sense of self-awareness and to reconnect with their inner values and sense of self-worth. Each individual has the ability to develop towards their full potential moving towards a more fulfilling and satisfying way of being.

Clients may have short or long term therapy depending on each individual needs.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)​

The pioneer of Cognitive behavioural therapy was Aaron Beck.   CBT deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past. It helps you to change your negative thoughts and behaviours to improve the way you feel and usually focuses on specific issues.

Transactions Analysis (T​A)

Transactional analysis is a type of psychotherapy developed by Eric Berne. He believed that human being has three distinct states of mind which he called ego states. Parent, Adult, Child. Transference and counter-transference look at how memories from past relationships can impact on your current relationships. Life scripts of messages receive as children build a view of ourselves and others.

Expressive Arts Therapy

Person-centred expressive arts therapy was created by Carl Rogers daughter Natalie Rogers. Her approach of the creative connection offers a process using a variety of mixed media such as making marks on paper, miniatures, sand, clay, natural material and using colours, this enables you to explore and express your inner thoughts and feelings in a much deeper way which are often hidden. It helps you to find and understand yourself accessing your conscious and subconscious awareness.

Occupational Health

Counselling sessions and CBT sessions offered to employees who may be absent from work to enable them to work through issues and return to work. Or employees may have counselling sessions while they remain in work.  This is usually short term therapy 6-8 sessions.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

I am an affiliate counsellor working for providers of Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) which covers a wide range of organisations in both the public and private sector. Clients have been referred from a variety such as insurers, solicitors, case management companies and occupational health departments. This is usually short term therapy 6-10 sessions.
